My Mam Ellen Lee passed away on 6 October 2005 aged 48 years while on her first holiday abroad in Turkey. She lived in Holyhead all her life and was married to my Dad Rob Lee. She worked in the local Catholic Primary School and was well known to many children and people of Holyhead.
She has 2 brothers, Andrew and Sammy and a sister Anna. She was a great Mam to me, my older brother Ben, younger brother Ryan and younger sister Georgina. A month after she passed away my nephew Ethan was born, Mam was so excited about becoming a Grandma for the first time. My baby daughter is due tomorrow (1 September) and she will be her second granchild. I know she is watching over us all. Wherever I am in the world (at the moment I am here, there and everywhere with the Army) I know she is watching over me and taking care of me. She is missed by so many and is loved and remembered by us all everyday.

Grace Ellen said to me yesterday 'Mummy, I still just can't jump high enough into the sky to see my Grandma Ellen in Heaven' :( Even though she never got to meet you in person, she knows who you are. I take comfort from the fact that I know you are watching over her everyday. Will never forget you, you are and always be one of the most important people in our lives. Happy Christmas Ellen. Was thinking about you earlier, how you used to pop in on Christmas Eve :-) It's even stranger this year not having Jack here but I know you are keeping him safe in Afghanistan and will bring him home safe to us. Can't believe 4 years have gone by since you fell asleep for the last time. Hiya Grandma Ellen in Heaven,
Just to let you know that Mummy and me had a fantastic birthday although Mummy said she was very tired as she had been busy all day. She said she is going to be like the Queen and have 2 birthdays cos she wants one when she can just relax and do nothing all day. She said that the 13th September is all about ME now and that's the way it should be hee hee. I'm sure you were watching us all day. I wish you could have had some Peppa Pig birthday cake with me. They were laughing at me in nursery because when they all started singing Happy Birthday when they brought the cake out, I started saying 'Oh God!', well what did they expect? they were gonna cut my cake up and eat it! at least they kept the Peppa Pig icing intact for me! Everybody loves and misses you so much, Ethan started pre-school on Monday, hopefully he will be able to go to St Mary's soon. Speak soon and keep watching over us.
